I feel like stealing it probably isn't super likely at the moment if for no other reason than the onerous storage requirements. Maybe once sturdier vaccines are available that will happen though. Also, how would people know what they are getting? I mean a vaccine and a saline solution look identical from my understanding so it seems like scam vaccines would be the more likely thing to happen.

I'm sure the logistics trail is being scrutinized by the baddies looking for areas of entry to exploit (theft, contaminate, disrupt, etc. What part of the deployment plan is the most vulnerable is the question I would think is being asked by everyone concerned.

As of now I’d guess most of the vaccine is guarded. In the non political thread I mentioned how I believe I saw some in transit yesterday. Semi custom looking UPS truck with a police escort is kind of strange.
Also the vaccine will be free, admittedly there will be or is a market for it but I’d assume selling a lot of stolen vaccine that needs to be kept very cool and has a limited shelf life would be difficult to steal, store and ship to whatever shithole country is willing to pay for it PLUS the exchange rate for shithole dollars to US dollars.

I am sure some dumb-dumb somewhere will steal some, I just doubt we will see a large theft.

Thing is they don’t need a stolen vaccine, they will just need a Dr willing to put them at the front of the line which I think all can easily do. Uber wealthy fear death because they have a good thing happening. Why though. It's one thing to be potentially immune to covid, it's another thing for society to go back to normal enough (e.g. lockdown) whereby one wouldn't worry about interacting with the masses.
