christ you have to worry about someone brute forcing your porn folder?!?! My friends would stop the second it asked for a password

You guys are working too hard. Just put it in a folder and apply security permissions to it so that only one account can access it. Then log in using another account.

infinitly secure because it does NOT exist

You really should remedy that.

why should I?

IMO porn is boring, it lost its appeal 10 years ago when i turned 14

Every guy I know, even those that get more sex than they want, still likes porn. Or did you have an experience like the guy in Eurotrip when he watched a gay porn by accident: "The girls never came. They never came!" ;) Seriously though, I'm sorry that you don't enjoy porn.

I am thinking just renaming it to something obscure/boring and buried a few levels deep is too simple, mainly because it is too easy to find it just searching for *.mpg;*.avi;*.wmv on the whole drive, and seeing where the stuff turns up.

So what other steps do you guys take to obscure it? archival & encryption?

Anyone with a basic understands of computers understads this:

search *.jpg

I know what you mean. I lose interest in porn after about 15 minutes.
