So how secure is your pr0n folder REALLY?

I remember there was a thread awhile back about "where do you hide your pr0n folder" or something to that effect. I am thinking just renaming it to something obscure/boring and buried a few levels deep is too simple, mainly because it is too easy to find it just searching for *.mpg;*.avi;*.wmv on the whole drive, and seeing where the stuff turns up.

So what other steps do you guys take to obscure it? archival & encryption?

There is no one that uses this puter but me.

The b/f wouldnt know how to turn a puter on, and VeggieFrog is thousands of miles away... so I can name my folder PORN!

😀 Only thing I need to watch out for is when female friends (the MARRIED ones) stop by and need to use my computer impromptu. 😕 :Q

just dont allow other users read rights to the folder. simple, no?

And you don't leave yourself logged in at your own PC?

I dont lock my porn dir either.

I'm just saying if you want security, dont allow others read rights, and have 1min screensaver or something.

Hidden folder, password protected, three folders deep, & in a totally seperate log-in account(also passworded) named after a person that doesn't even exist.

hide it in folders? i keep all my videos on the desktop for easy access!

I do have a file naming system though: "MOMYOUDONTWAANAOPENTHIS-1.mpg" followed by "MOMYOUDONTWAANAOPENTHIS-2.mpg", etc

If I really had to hide it, it would just be split into seperate rar files with a 10 digit alphanumeric ecryption. It'd take forever to brute force anything over 4 numbers alone. Maybe throw in a period just for kicks.
