My neighbors have been playing cultural music since Fri. I wouldn't mind except it's so loud, you can hear it in my house.

I couldn't stand that. Maybe it was just the way that I was brought up, but I don't want to hear my neighbors and I try to live so that they can't hear me. For me here, it doesn't seem to be the neighbors in my building (except when the one couple has sex), but the ones across the way.

My old roommate got a one bedroom apartment in the complex in which I used to live. I always had to remind him to turn his computer speakers down. Now that I'm gone, he apparently keeps them way up and he said he keeps getting notes on his door.

I'm lucky in that my new apartment complex allows you to give other residents a red card. If anyone collects three cards, they are out. I can't see myself doing that unless the noise gets outright crazy.

Wow, that really sucks. I don't know what to tell you, other than maybe get some very directional speakers and blast 18KHz waves at their window all night.
