So, how often do you think girls check their email?

Depends on how often she uses her email. If she uses it alot, 2 or 3 times a day. if she doesn't, i'd go w/ maybe once a day. i dont use my college addy at all...check it maybe 2 or 3 times a month. (not a hot chick, but just saying from some perspective)
 
College e-mail during school ? Maybe 3-4 times a day. If she isn't in school, maybe once or twice a day.
 
2-3 times, tops.

I sit at my computer almost all day, and I don't check more often than that. 'Course, I'm also not waiting for an e-mail from a hot ATOT'er, either.

she has the gmail notifier in her toolbar, and looks at it when there's a new message. (forwards her college email to gmail)
