A soul doesn't *have* to be a religious tool, they could be what I refer to as the self. Unless of course you believe that we are nothing more than a set of complex biomechanical processes that are acted upon causally (then you give up free will but that's a whole different discussion)

The many uncertianty principles of quantum physics blow that outta the water.

If we could measure everything in the universe we could predict all the interactions and thus free will is an illusion....but quantum physics tends to disagree 😉

That said, I don't believe in such things as souls, so I guess I'd sell to the highest bidder.
