So how much can my video card handle?

Ok, im playing the battlefield 2 demo, right now i have all of the video settings on high, except for lighting, which is on medium, and i have anti-aliasing off. I want to know if i can turn anti-aliasing on all the way to 8X (the highest it will go) and maybe even lighting all the way up so the entire graphics on the game are at the highest possible. Im running a Rosewill X800XL 256MB and i havnt overclocked anything...can my gpu handle that, or is this graphics card just a medium grade?

both ur CPU and ur GPU need to be high end. If one is not, its a bottleneck for the other. Your card is pretty high end, so why don't you just be adventurous and try 8x aa hmm?

Try it. If it cant handle it, the worst that will happen is your frame rate will drop below 24, and the game will feel a bit choppy. IF that happens, just drop the AA back to 4x.

4xAA and 8xAF generally look pretty sweet. Thats what i aim for in games.
