So how has the Patriot Act ruined your life?

I am looking for specific examples where the Patriot Act hindered someones life or actually trampled on your rights....no Tinfoil hats or theories please.

The belt buckle affair is more TSA/Homeland Security...not Patriot Act.

I would say that redistribution of wealth has affected me.

Because there are no specific effects today, it will always be so? Give it time. Plus, we don't hear much of what goes on. How do we know people have not been affected by it? Do you think we know a majority of what our government does?

It will take time. Specific issues with the DMCA are popping up all over the place, and when did that originally get put into place?

not mine, but more than a few citizens have been held without access to a laywer or even formal charges.

Saddam Hussein has not affected my life at all. But my tax money still went to invading his country to remove him from power. So I'm just wondering- were you opposed to removing Saddam from power? Seems like you only care about things that specifically affect you, in your own self-interest.
