They've had that since Pedro took some time off before the All-Star break last week. I like it; it shows some sense of team unity, IMO.

Huh, first time I noticed it. You don't think thats kinda arrogant? If they had one of every player then it'd be ok, but its just him. Or do they rotate a different one everyday?

What're they supposed to do, throw it out now that Pedro's back? It doesn't seem like anybody in the dugout minds...

Ignorant? Since when did a team ever put a huge bobble head doll in their own dugout? And please explain how there is team unity in having this. The team can barely keep their own players from hating each other. Please, your just another ignorant yankee hater.

Deja Vu? Remember that last Dead Sox manager that made a bad decision? Or maybe its time for people like you to realize that there is magic in baseball and that the Yankees are destined to beat them over and over again.

Of course they don't mind, he is in the last year of his contract, they'd do anything to appease him now.

yankees pitching is so streaky,

mussina, (dl, is not clutch)
brown, (alaways on dl)
contraras (pitching ok now, but one start away from giving up 7er in 2 innings)
halsley/sturtze, (no comment needed)
vasquez (pretty consistent, but not dominating)

for a 180 million payroll its pretty bad.

what about the red sox?

other than Schilling (who gave up 7ER btw to the yanks) they're not that great either

Pedro's velocity is down. He's not as dominant as he was in his prime.
Derek Lowe. No comment.
Bronson Arroyo? LoL~~~~~~~~
Tim Wakefield. More inconsistent than Contreras. and that's saying a lot.

SHHHHHHHHHHHH

I did not say anything about the red sox's streaky pitching. I was just saying that for a 180 million payroll the team's pitching could be alot better. The yanks def will win the division but they will have trouble in the post season with their pitching.

Thats not how they will get him. Randy Johnson will force them to give him to the Yanks. No-Trade Clause means he can go anywhere he wants, unless Diamondbacks are willing to pay him 16 mil next year along with his 8 this year.

from as of right now Randy johnson has showed no signs of Forcing the Dbacks to trade him specifically to the yanks...
I do not know how you made that conclusion...

Actually some insider sources said Randy Johnson would only go to the Yanks and might be pushing for it.

I honestly don't know why you think the entire baseball community revolves around you and that you know everything.

You and your fans are ignorant because everytime the red sox do something that no one else does you just automatically think it's "stupid @ss". Might I remind you of Cowboy Up? The Hair styles? Even when their player isn't around because he is in the Dominican Republic, they get a life sized bobble head, and they ended up winning that game. Thus the bobble head became a good luck charm, not some stupid @ss arrogant display. I never saw the yankees do anything for Kevin Brown or Giambi while they were sick with parasites. Or anything for their players to show they care about one another.
Which leads me to my second point, do you really think any of the players on your yankees team have good relationships, such as Ortiz and Manny? I don't think so (face it, your players are there for the money), and don't even try to say arod and jeter because we all know arod wants to play SS. The only thing you might be able to say is Gordon and Sheffield's mustaches. The only reason your players play so well is because they've already established themselves before they went to the yankees. Let's take a look at the players (excluding the already mentioned rotation). We'll put them under 3 categories, made (as in they established themselves in NY) or paid or N/A.
OF
Matsui-Definate PAID
Lofton-PAID
Sheffield-PAID
Bernie Williams-MADE
Bubba Crosby-N/A
IF
Posada-MADE
Flaherty-N/A
Cairo-PAID
Clark-PAID (he's starting to look a lot more like when he was the tiger's allstar)
Giambi-Definate PAID
Jeter-Made
Arod-definate PAID
Enrique Wilson-N/A
DH
Ruben Sierra-PAID
Now lets look at the sox
OF
Manny-PAID
Nixon-MADE
Damon-PAID (although one could argue he has brought a lot to the sox and could be made)
Kapler-MADE
McCarty-N/A
IF
Belhorn-PAID
Garciaparra-MADE
Millar-MADE
Mueller-MADE
Youkillis-N/A
Varitek-MADE
Mirabelli-MADE (look at his offense for a backup catcher)
DH
Ortiz-DEfinate MADE

It's the fact that we are able to get such better players without having to wait until they MAKE themselves somewhere else. Thats what makes the red sox the more favorable team...
