Bold. The Chargers' 4 wins are against opponents with a combined record of 7-44-1, and that includes the 4-9 Falcons.
Given that I guess terribly when I think "rational", I decided to go against my incorrect gut.

Well, I'm 7 points closer to that total of 35. 😀

Damn, Herbert looks damn good.

If Mariota keeps this up, Carr is going to have a hot seat on his ass along with his torn groin to make him uncomfortable.

Lol. The comedy of errors continues. Oakland's kicker never got a chance to kick for the record because the holder couldn't handle it. That same guy who shanked the punt. Hmmm....maybe Cole really has money against his own team.....Ray Guy would be ashamed.

Justin Herbert is what Jay Cutler should have been.
Cutler always had some aggressive decision making tendencies that Herbert does not have. Herbert is fearless and cool, with ice water in his veins.

Herbert's style is hard to define. He's just good at everything but does it in the most understated way possible. Accuracy, arm strength, mobility.

Mariota looked like Lamar Jackson (sans blinding speed) until towards the end of the game lol.

Lol. Chargers kicker never fails...to fail.
Pretty sure choking is a job requirement when the Chargers interview a kicker.

I don't even understand the point, is a 65 yard FG more likely than a hail mary? Jon Gruden is making more money than he did in the broadcast booth, but I wonder if it's all worth it. This season fizzled out quickly, and the Chiefs have an apparent hammerlock on the division for years to come.

Herbert's style is.. California surfer? He's been great when you consider he's just a rookie.

ESPN ran a probability/odd check (as of today 12/18) on these teams that are trying to make the playoff.

Baltimore - over 80%

Cleveland - over 50%

Miami - less than 50%

Las Vegas - less than 10%

3 games left and it is a dog fight to the finish line.

Forcing 11-on-11 against a defense that is already poor usually ends up with good results.
Although not looking like he had any rust at all is major kudos to Mariota being prepared.

Well Bills vs Broncos went to crap in a hurry as far as being a good game.... at least the first half was interesting!

🙄

Also this:

😀😀😀😀 GO BILL"S !!! 😀😀😀😀

IDK if they're beating Mahomes and the Chiefs in the playoffs but ANYONE else in the NFL is fair game the way the Bills are playing IMO.

Unfortunately game #2 tonight is tough to get excited about too. One-dimensional as the Packers are they should still destroy Carolina.

And somehow Green Bay is the top-seed in the NFC right now if I'm not mistaken with no defense or consistent ground-game.

The Badger fans are not amused.

I actually like the Packers offense and Rodgers is a terrific QB but they are an incomplete team.... which still may well win the NFC with home field if they can hang onto it.

Looking at the remaining schedule I would say GB takes at worst 2 of 3 possibly losing to the Titans at home or not caring/mailing it in with Chicago in week 17.

It's been nice seeing Buffalo come out after the half and not falling on their faces. Before last week, they had outscored their opponents only once in the third quarter, and that was against the winless Jets. Now they're 31-0 over the last two third quarters.

What a play from Bama from the SEC championship game.

FL player stole a pass from a Bama player's hands for an INT then ran....another Bama player tacked that FL player from blindside and caused a fumble in which a Bama player recovered. The FL player was down and still down. After that play, Bama scored on a wide open pass for the lead of 14-7.

Not a fan of the team but that's how you play championship caliber level. Never ever give up. Play every down like your life depends on it. That hit would be on ESPN Sports Center later for sure.
