Well now what....
Should I go to bed or do something nuts like try to get a old a$$ computer running from spare parts so I can attempt to play tie fighter? (or another option)
DosBOX FTW.
Tried to get that working... my A64 3200+ with a gig of ram is not fast enough for tie fighter on it :laugh:

You have the emulation set too slow.

What do you mean? I think it's been a few months since I tried this... I messed around with skipping frames and such.
My CPU load was at 100% and then I lowered frames/settings down until I was hovering at 90% load or so... at that point it was unplayable.

you need to adjust cycles, not framerate. if you set the cycles too high the game will run poorly too. I've been able to get most games to run but some games require special settings to get them to work properly.

Meh...I think it's time for sleep. Nothing all that interesting going on here now, and it's been a while since I've gone to bed before 4am anyway 😉
:moon::heart: all.
