PS3 craze? The only craze people had was a twisted notion that bashing was the thing to do and to even mention an advantage was certain blasphemy![]()

Sure, here's evidence. If you have a PS3 you might want to contact the losing bidders.

Notice how the bidder has 0 feedback and is no longer a registered member. I'm sure they didn't pay 20 grand.

Certainly it was sold. EBAY got its money. But this is why I no longer sell on EBAY.
You're sharp. I'll never forget when I was selling Palm Pilots with modems. They were trendy and EBAY got their money. I had one out of five serious bidders. EBAY is out of control.

Uhh... ebay refunds your money if the buyer doesn't pay.

I just had an auction end in which the buyer didn't pay and I filed a dispute. Ebay refunded me the Final Value Fee after 8 days.

OK. I think that's a bummer that they didn't refund your money instead choosing to give you a "Final Value Fee," but that's been my experience also. They were good 10 years ago, but not anymore.

The listing fee was only about $1 or so it's not a big deal.

My fees were much higher and there liability overall was reduced. You are lucky you didn't lose more. I did and I left EBAY.
They might have reduced seller losses because so many left EBAY. There was a mass exodus. The point is that you paid for services that you did not recieve.

I suppose, but I have made lots of money on ebay and have saved tons on things like car audio equipment. Until there is a comparable alternative I will continue to use ebay. The same goes with paypal. I haven't really had any problems with paypal either.
I have been a member of ebay since 1999 btw.
