So has anyone ever came back with AIDs?

I was just curious after posting a thread about dots on my arm if anyone has ever posted a benign question like 'I have a headach for two days. What is it?', to which, of course ATOT screams 'AIDS!' only to have AIDs confirmed a month later.

I understand the funny behind it but It just seems like it would be pretty shitty if that were to actually happen.

To be fair it can't be true because no one here ever has sex and the only drug people here use is caffeine. 😉

wait, are you saying you have AIDS? i'm not comprehending you writing.

My writing skills have been off lately as I have been super aloof for a while but the OP should be readable as it is right now.

No, I'm asking if anyone has come back with a positive AIDs diagnosis after asking ATOT first. I'm just curious as that is always the first joke that someone posts to any medical question here.

ahh ok. well i postitively diagnosed a lot of folks here who seemed to have been inflicted with an extreme case of the 'stupid'. turns out i was right and didn't charge them either.

No. But I did guess "pregnancy" once when an acquaintance was feeling under the weather.

...yup.

I just go with the classic tumor theory usually.

It's nadda tumah.

Seriously, what are the odds of that? And who would admit it? And if they did admit it, who would believe them?

i am convinced that more people have aids than realize it, and it contributes to a lot more medical problems than people are willing to admit to

In my own defense, I would like to be clear that I did not claim you have AIDS. But rather conjectured that your neighbor was trying to addict you to heroin, or that the marks were love bites from a Japanese anime tentacle~monster.

Not AIDS. :colbert:

But what if that had aids?

HIV is not AIDS. HIV is the virus that causes a person to be infected with HIV. Do not use these two, (HIV and AIDS) interchangeably.

Again, your ignorance on the subject is baffling. How are you convinced more people have AIDS than realize it, when you use these two acronyms interchangeably? Did you just pull that statement out of your nether regions? You need to quit trolling in these threads. Stick to things that you seem to know about, because science is not one of them.

AIDS is the stage that is defined when symptoms of long term HIV infection manifest itself.

AIDS symptoms may not appear for years (10 or more) with an HIV infected person.

AIDS may never manifest itself with a person taking anti-retrovirals. This is ongoing because there are many positive people out there taking the anti-retrovirals that have not got the the stage of AIDS.

You cannot have developed to the state of AIDS, (advanced HIV infection), without knowing something was extremely wrong with yourself.
