I CANNOT decide whether to go with a 6800GT or 6800 OR 6800LE... what would be best for someone who doesn't game TOO often, and is satisfied with around 1200x1000 (can't remember the res off hand) at medium/high settings.

I plan to overclock with an NV Silencer 5.

If you're not a hard core gamer I see no reason to even think of the 6800GTs

How often do you really play and what games do you play? You may be fine with a 9800 Pro

I play fairly often, just not high resolution games. (SC, D2)

I would love to play Doom 3, HL2, WoW and Halo 2.

I got the straight up 6800, and I play doom 3. I can play at 1024x768 w/ medium detail. It's a TAD choppy for a split second here and there, nothing that bothers me at all though (and I'm pretty anal). Any higher on the detail though and the choppiness does bother me.

I'm super anal, so any choppiness bothers me, even with the 6800 Ultra OC, I still see a teensy slowdown from time to time....and it bothers me!

or even less
I still play lots of games, and my 9800 Pro plays them all without fault, at high detail.
