So, guess who provided N. Korea with the nukes?

He was member of a board. I guess that makes him completely responsable.

Maybe even responsible!

So their people can have an alternate energy source? You know......

It's just another slanted article. It even admits that Rumsfeld may not have even known.

So, what is your point? I voted in the last California election. I did not vote for Gov. Gray Davis. Gray Davis won the election. I am, therefore responsible for Gray Davis being governor of California.

Another analogy:

All fish swim. Humans swim. Therefore, all humans are fish.

Take your claptrap somewhere else.

Don't feed the troll.

Well Hagbard, if your hero Clinton would have dealt with NK before they had nukes, we wouldn't be in this situation right now.....😛

Well, its rather odd that every time some country is accused of having WMD they aren't permitted by the US to have, it turns out that some company run by Rumsfeld is connected to it, or there's a picture with him staking the dictator's hand. What's the matter, a late payment or two?

The article isn't slanted at all..it's hagbard's interpretation that is.

Weapons experts say waste material from the two reactors could be used for so-called ?dirty bombs?.

Dirty bomb != a nuke. Anyways, why would North Korea revert to such low tech methods when they have their own program that makes the real deal?

Clinton is my "hero". Nice one 😉

I think the whole lot of them should be sent on the next mission into space on one of those nice shuttles.

That's completely untrue. I do think he's fit to lick Clinton's boots.

Just so you know the board of directors of a corporation is elected by stockholders to hire folks to actually run the company. So he did'nt run nothin' there.

Also these reators can't make the good sh1t anyway which they already have.

Do you honestly think that the Board of Directors for a company is involved in every business deal a company makes? A B.O.D. is there to oversee the company and the people running it, there are not there to make the day to day decisions about running the company or the business deals that the company operates by. A B.O.D. is nothing more than an oversight committee elected by the stockholders.

If you really want to put the blame for NK having nukes and the current situation blame the Clinton Administration. I'm not one of the people that tries to blame them for everything that has gone wrong, but this situation is cleary one they created.

The Bush government has repeatedly used the agreement to criticise the former Clinton administration for being too soft on North Korea. Rumsfeld?s deputy, Paul Wolfowitz, has been among the most vocal critics of the 1994 weapons accord.

Pot meet kettle. now which of you were black?

Normally i'd agree with you, but his reaction to the situation and their continued harrasment of clinton makes me think he did know and it just trying to shift the heat. 🙂

btw, this isn't just day to day, he may not have known all the specifics of the deal, but it seems strange to try and claim he knew NOTHING of the deal.

How do you figure.

The Clinton administration made the deal. Rumsfeld was on a board of directors of a company. Was he supposed to tell his company to turn down a contract that was approved of by the current US administration?

Please try to stay in this plane of reality. thank you.

The ABB contract was a consequence of a 1994 deal between the US and Pyongyang to allow construction of two reactors in exchange for a freeze on the North?s nuclear weapons programme.

the US made an agreement with NK and NK broke the deal. Do you think Clinton's administration knew they would reneg?

Someone had to build the reactors... so what if Rumsfeld was on the BOD of the SWISS company that won the contract.

OMG a swiss company sold NK some nuke plants under a deal the NKs reneged on! those damn swiss, they should rot in hell!
