So.... Eyes closed when kissing?

As most of you know, I ahve a girlfriend now. 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

Anyway, we kiss and stuff, and she always closes her eyes. I feel kinda weird cuzz whenever she opens her eyes, I'm right there looking at her so I often close my eyes when kissing. I guess its proper to close your eyes when kissing though, right? SHe asks me why I don't, and I could only come up with the answer that I figure one of us should know wtf we're doing.

What do you guys think of this? I did a quick search for "kiss" and "close" and didn't find anything.

Most women seem to close their eyes in the movies, maybe that has given girls the idea that this is the proper thing?
 
When we like peck, I close my eyes real quick and open them again. When its intimate, my eyes are usually like half closed...
 
i close my eyes most of the time.. although sometimes we both kiss with our eyes open and just look at eachother while we're kssing.. its kinda wierd actually.

 
the idea to close your eyes is basically to feel the sensation of her lips on yours...kissing is more of an sensation thing.. close and let your mind go wild..

Hahaha! Oh the memories this brings back! My wife always brings this up so I think it might be a girl thing, I am not 100% sure, I haven't fully figured it out. When we were dating we would give each other a good 🙂 kiss good night and she also would alway close her eyes and I would keep mine open. I think it freaked her out becuase she would always tell me to "CLOSE YOUR EYES!!". My excuse was that I was watching to make sure no one was staring at us or anything, and she would come back telling me I need to focus on the kiss, not what is going on around us. I don't know, it is just hard to close my eyes even now unless it is completely dark and there is nothing to see. Man, I thought I was the only one with this problem, if indeed it is a problem.
 
I read somewhere that women think if you don't close your eyes when you kiss, it means it's not sincere and meaningful to you.

To me - it depends on the situation. If we're lying on the couch or something, eyes closed. If we're standing up, I usually have my eyes open. (Dont ask)

i heard never to trust a guy that doesn't close his eyes when he kisses you. i had a bf like that one time, once i opened my eyes because something was in it, and i see these two eyes staring back at me. freaked me out.

and to answer the question, yes! eyes closed when kissing (most of the time--if it's those short quick ones then usually no). 😀

 
I keep mine open cause the girl im with right now is HOT and i keep em open to make sure im not dreaming 😀
 
I always close my eyes unless we are gettin' our groove on, then I will kiss and stare in the mirror at her nice round butt I'm grabbin' and......never mind 😉
 
I think it's more of a matter of doing what your partner is comfortable with. I love it when a girl and I are staring into each others eyes while we're kissing.... it makes it that much more intimate. Although I do see the other side, where you can focus more on the kiss if your eyes are closed. Oh well, I guess the solution is to open them sometimes and close them sometimes, and if it pisses your g/f off one way or the other, then do what she wants you to do.
 
all this talk about kissing and stuff is making me realise no matter how upbeat I make myself think.. I am still a single guy that none of the girls I want to go out with will go out. And even if I do go out with them chances are I aint getting any smooches.

I usually don't close my eyes when I kiss standing up because it's always been on a step or somewhere where I can fall over (and I'm quite the clumsy bastard)

Dood I know exactly how you feel. I haven't had that much experience kissing women (lets just say the number I've kissed I can count on one hand 🙁 ) - it's just hard for some guys to meet people and get beyond just a friend level. You have to go out and make it happen for yourself - I just sit around the house - I haven't gone out with friends or anyone in a couple months - so nothing is happening for me, which I'm fine with
