Update:
Diagnosis: Sports Hernia. Not really a hernia, but similar symptoms. Given all the rowing I've been doing, it makes sense. Just got to lay off the abs for a few days.

Before anyone says anything, I just made an appointment with my GP for tomorrow afternoon, and if symptoms below get any worse/more frequent I'm heading to the emergency room. I'm just wondering if anyone here has had similar symptoms and can give me more confirmation than google can offer.
My left testicle has always been more sensitive than my right, and now that I've actually done some research I'm pretty sure I have a hernia on that side as well (I can feel it retracting and moving for one, also did the cough test). The hernia's never really done much, just some minor discomfort right behind the scrotum, kinda like a minor groin cramp. Sometimes I'll go for days without a thing, other times it's there on and off throughout the day. Suffice to say it never lasts long.
Today, however, there's something new. About an hour ago, I was doing my weekly testicle examination, and when I put even a modicum of pressure on the rear of my left testicle pain shoots up through the left side of my groin. Odd thing is that the pain in the testicle itself was minor, kinda like a dull ache. This was straight pressure, no twisting on my part.
The first thing that popped into my mind was OMG TORSION but then I read that the pain would be constant/unbearable, and said pain only lasted for a fraction of a second and it now a continual minor dull ache similar to aforementioned hernia pain. Also, the pain traveled up the exact route that the hernia takes, so I'm wondering if the two might be related.
Strangulated/trapped hernia also came to mind, but I don't see how testicle pressure would cause it. From what I've read, that would also be constant/unbearable as well.
Also, right side is perfect. No pain, no hernia that I can feel, no sensitivity.
