Well, there was that guy who just got a new duron 700 the day before a day off at the office. He thought 'cool, lets install rc5 and see how it does for the first 36 hours'. But when he comes back to it 2 days after he notices the power led is blinking. uh uh... sleeping mode. hope that didnt affect the crackrate ? YOU BET! not a single packet done, when 1600 blocks were expected. Dumbness is suck.

Everyday problem in life. Fact is most human beings have a room-temperature I.Q. - In CELSIUS!

LOL, who's that guy? 😀

Sigh, 36h of cracking time wasted. 🙁
I managed to get assilimate another 2 PII 450Mhz today, maybe it'll cover the loss. 🙂

too funny, sad thing is a person like that will read your comment and not realize that its an insult. 🙂

imhotepmp

And now you have to overclock that baby to crack faster ! 😉
But ( Le temps perdu jamais ne se rattrappe... 🙁 )

How long does it take for the computer to go into sleep mode? It seems like the it should have been able to finish a packet or 2 unless the computer goes into sleep mode in an unreasonably short time.

Try a guy who made 2 buffers ( 10000 blocks each ) and placed it at work a two pIII 450 systems, later to realise that both pc's were cracking the same buffer.;(
happend once. put me back 30 day's!!!

Well, made a small effort lately with a three day megaflush to rest my feelings.....
