So, does anyone make a 20" or so LCD with 1024 x 768 native resolution?

I doubt once could sell such a low res unit in enough volume to make it profitable.

Summary: I don't think so.

If anything, I'd suggest an LCD TV. They usually run in the range of 1024 x 768, maybe 1024x1024.

Still, they're useable as a monitor and you can get a larger one for the same price.

my 20in is 1680x1024 native : and i think most 20in lcd monitors were in the same range, i agree with the LCD TV being your best bet.

dare i ask why you need a low res large monitor?

Dells 23 inch has that resolution. We got two of them with the MCE we bought here at work. Can't use them as a regular monitor though, because you have to sit back away from the monitor for it to look good.
