Seriously, this guy ran out of the gym 4 times because he saw racy material. What happens when he moves out of his moms basement and lives in the real world?

I hope my days in Utah or my days breathing are numbered.

i don't think it has anything to do with not leaving the basement as much as it is being super religious whackjobs

I just don't understand the people that enjoy the freedom to practice whatever wacky religion they like, (to me they are ALL wacky), but don't understand that it gives other people the freedom to NOT participate. If they don't like Gold's gym, LEAVE. Why do they want to change the atmosphere?

Here in Indiana, we still can't buy beer/booze on Sunday. (Except in restaurants) Of course, all of our neighbor states have no such restrictions, so THEY make the extra money on Sundays. It makes no sense.

I respect people's religions, however, they have to understand that what they believe isn't the "truth" to everyone. If you're abiding by a conservative religion, they you are going to be exposed to plenty of "sin" and "objectionably material". It's price you pay for freedom.

And on a less serious note, putting blinds up? Holy crap! I think God would be angry that you're not appreciating one of his greatest creations! 😉

It's because there are so many Mormons here they think it's their right to change everything to their well liking. The director of alcohol tried to pass a bill a couple months go here that made restaurants and bars hide all alcohol and wine bottles behind a wall or curtain so it didn't upset non-drinkers.

I liked the part about the protesters asking Gold's to add blinds to the aerobics rooms because the moves are "very provocative."

To which Gold's response should have been, "stop looking at them pervert!"

its not just mormons, its all religions and other groups as well.

i don't get the concept of trying to get rid of stuff that you don't like but other people do like.

it all comes down to Perple vs Lary flint basicially

if you dont like "X" go somplace else where "X" isnt show, or dont buy "x" if you dont like it.......

if its not illigal then people have the right to do almost whatever they want, and costomers have the right to not go to their places, its pretty simple

It must have been the commercials for Coca-Cola or Lipton Iced-Tea.

what a goon.

They've got the Gold's Gym membership network, and certain videos they play are extremely indecent, and some are outright pornography.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

I'd love to see these videos the group are claiming are outright pornography. What a bunch of pansies.

Boston was never like this. Infact, the gym in the Pru had to cover up their windows because pervs kept looking at all the women doing pilates and working on those big balls.

All the Mormons I know don't support Romney, but I do. I find that kind of funny. Not every Mormon is a die hard Romney supporter.

Provo is fine as a college town. There are a lot worse out there, let me tell you. What we have here is just a classical example of Mormon oneupmanship for piousness.

pssst... all religions are based on fiction

Religions are group-shared worldviews, all worldviews are merely perceptions of reality, and all perceptions of reality are fictions.
