So, do you guys save stuff from the internet that you like?

I was just thinking... gee, it would be cool to have a copy of everything I thought was cool that I've seen on the internet in the past 6-7 years. Do you guys save stuff like that?

I mean... I have a bunch of MP3s, Car racing videos, movies, most of my homework, some of it 5-10 years old from junior high and high school (now a junior in college)..

I'm thinking I'm gonna start saving every single cool car picture I find... any save any information / web page I find informative in case the stuff disappears over time. Any of you do this? Anyone have any cool stuff to share? Thanks fellers, just curious.. I'm having a hard time filling up 250gb.

Yep..

I save a lot of stuff I come across.. pictures, videos, etc. I save it all into my root directory, it's kinda a catch-all.

Yeah, I save some things.

I have lots of videos, images, and so on and so forth.
No real writing though, things like that I can bookmark.

yeah, some things. i had a bunch of things saved at one point, various humor, intellectual and what not type of stuff. but my hard drives (both, gah) died from a lousy psu so i lost most of it, and dont have as much as i used to. now i just save whatever files and apps i use regulary, so i dont have to find them again (theyre on a couple cds) if my drive dies on me

I save a bunch of images, and videos. No text though. But I have a couple thousand (non-porn) images from different places, things I thought were interesting.
