So do I bench Rich Gannon? (fantasy football)

Well, Gannon's been terrible the past 2 weeks. Do I bench him for Patrick Ramsey, or stick with him and hope he rebounds? I think I am leaning towards going with Ramsey until gannon straightens himself out. I thought week 2 was just a fluke but maybe not.

Gannon plays the Chargers next week, and Ramsey plays the Patriots.

Thoughts?

I dunno, how much does he weigh? Can you lift that much?

I'd be lucky to bench the bar.

Another question:

Do I start Jamal Lewis and either Kevin Faulk or Stacey Mack, plus my 2 starting WRs, or start Jamal Lewis and 3 receivers? (Gardner, Andre Johnson starters, then Muhsin Muhammad as the 3rd WR)

So it'd either be

Lewis - Mack or KFaulk and Andre Johnson-Rod Gardner
or
Lewis and Gardner, Johnson, Muhammad

Bench Gannon until he shows signs of improvement.

For example, I drafted McNabb in 2 leagues and he is riding the bench. I've been forced to use Hasselbeck, Maddox, and Bledsoe. Until I see improvement, McNabb will not start...

Get rid of him. He went psycho last night during the game. :D

Or keep him for another week and see if he cools it down.

I have McNabb as well. Against Buffalo he's sitting. I was able to pick up Bulger off waivers, and he played nicely this week for me. I also have Vick waiting...

Against the Chargers inept defense, needing a win to stay in the division race - Play Gannon.

Bench Gannon ... he doesn't have any fast WR's right now. Once Porter gets back, that might change.

Yeah, I would say his lack of success has more to do with the threat of Porter being gone than anything. Almost any DB in the NFL can cover all of their current recievers with a good amount of success.

McNabb, Maddox, Hasselback, and Bledsoe? How many people are in that league, 4?

I have to think that SD won't be much of a problem for the Raider offense, but Ramsey has played well thus far.....

S.Mack is a non-factor now anyway...

i have gannon in both my leagues, him and travis henry pretty much lost both games for me this week. i'm playing gannon next week though, if he can't get it together against a trash team like SD, then he's out and holcomb & mcnair come in

I would bench Gannon. I think the Chargers are going to win this week. There's no reason for that team to go 0-4. Oakland, imo, is in worse shape. (Someone mail me a crowbar in case I need to remove my foot from my mouth in one week.)

To the above poster with the WR/RB question. I would play Muhammad over the two RB's you listed.
