Any of you remember this guy - The Burger King

Or how about This version?

Ahh - the childhood memories. I think there was even a Burger with a face on it called the "Burger-Thing" as well.

On the other side of the burger battlefield, McDonalds served Big-Macs and Quarter Pounders in (grab something solid you green tree-huggers) -- STYROFOAM CONTAINERS! Oh the humanity - the dark ages of the past!!! LOL.

I haven't been around long enough to see the King, but I remember those "where's the beef?" ads.

I remember that lame commercial in the late 70's where they had some dude dressed up as a king. Similar to Ronald Mcdonald.

I even remember the those "Big Mac Attack" commercials.

They had commercials that said that? That more reminds me of something I'd say coming out of the washroom after a Big Mac.

You obviously were not a teenager in the 70's. And I am not sure if that's good or bad.;)

The used to advertise "It takes 2 hands to handle a Whopper", and it did. The modern Whopper is a postage stamp in comparision to the Whopper of 1970. I don't really remember much about the King, but I sure liked the Whopper!

Remember this:
"Two beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, oninons, on a sesame seed bun."

How about the following jingle:

"Big Mac, Filet-o-Fish, Quarter Pounder, French Fries, Icy Cokes, Thick Shakes, Sundaes, and Applie Pies"

I'm glad to see McDonalds bringing back the other characters. I bet many kids have no idea who Grimace and the Hamburglar are. The commercial with Cedric the Entertainer is classic. "What did you say about my mama?"

Hell, I even remember a McD's commercial that had Grimace time travelling and finding stone age McD's.
