You can check your admission to Berkeley starting today from 3:00PM.

I got rejected for Fall 2002, but they said I was accepted for Spring 2003...

damn didn't get in either. I already graduated college though, so it's not too much of a dissapointment.

Congrats... I was a spring admit too back in 99. Welcome to Cal (if you decide to go), and if you want to come in the fall you should look into the extension program.

Yup, I did! Applied in the fall, received my acceptance letter in late December.

Of course, that was December 1986!🙂

Ended up turning Cal down and went Back East.

good look at b0mbrman, he always has sad faces on his post because hes an anthro major minoring in classics 🙂D)

So what's the reason for getting into Spring 2003 and not Fall 2002? Grades, or just luck?

Also, does that mean that I will have to do Spring-Summer instead of Fall-Winter-Spring? Or, will everything be normal for the remaining years?

Also, is it split 50/50 between Fall and Spring terms?

i got into berkeley for fall '98 but decided to go to ucla instead. a lot of my friends at ucla (from southern california) were accepted to berkeley for spring '99, which made their decision to attend ucla easier. the word on the street is it's easier to get into berkeley if you're from northern california and easier to get into ucla if you're from southern cali, i guess because proximity is a big issue for most people. but the two schools are pretty much equal these days in terms of prestige. did you get into ucla?

Why all th ragging on Berkeley?

As someone from the east coast, I have always thought Berkeley to be the best state University in the nation, with a prestige factor almost on par with the Ivies.

i applied for UC Berkeley and UC Davis. Got into Davis but haven't heard from Berkeley yet. Since Davis is relaly close to my house (Sacramento) i'd be commuting so i'm just gonna go to Davis. Can't afford to get a place around UC Berkeley or live on campus. Saves me a grip load, plus i never really thought i'd ever get into a UC (i'm a transfer student) so i'm going to take my opportunity there.

If i do get accepted to Berkeley, gonna have to turn it down
