Sorry to hear about one of your businesses Highland. Its rough. If you were close I would bring over a bottle of scotch and a few Maduros...
Thanks. 100% my fault for trusting someone (I knew her previously and I did check her references), expecting them to have a work ethic and a desire to own part of a business (49%) that could have put her in the $60K/year range. Being 50+, no pot, no window...why would that not be appealing? Instead, how about $340/wk in unemployment.

eff me but it's almost done and the stress relief will be welcomed. My hair can start turning gray instead of loose.:p

Any pics of the kitchen? That is my next project. It is one of those "lets do the kitchen, starting with tearing out some of the master closet which means touching every other room in the house" remodel project :p

Only on AT would a guy talk about his finished basement being almost done, and then show a picture of a room with bare studs and an awesome server rack. Well played, sir.

He only said "almost done" because it's missing the minifridge - then it's done

Its hard to trust anybody these days. I closed my auto business because I couldnt find someone honest to run it. Had two guys in a year steal and another caused two lawsuits. The good guys I had were hired away by the Mercedes dealership. The stress gets really bad when things dont go the way they are supposed to. At least you feel good about closing it man. I felt like I cut off my arm. Funny thing is I almost opened a finance company like yours and now I am kicking myself for not doing it. I remember talking to you about it in a thread lol

Good times...

Sold, .38 on the dollar but better that zero. Owning the loan company is what allowed me to be able to lose my shirt on the daycare.....:\

I finished a built in bookshelf in our den, it's about 13' long by 9' tall. I ripped out the existing molding and re-installed it encasing the built ins. Don't hate me because I've got skillz. I have an unfair advantage though, I drew custom cabinets for 4 years and have access to a CNC panel router.

Oh man, those are gorgeous, nice job! I used to have access to a CNC through a buddy, cut a lot of nice speakers on them
