They are protected by the migratory bird act, like eagles. So even though there are 30+ million crows in US, and they are killed by hundreds of thousands by farmers and government agencies, you are not even allowed to own a crow feather.

Still...no one would be able to stop him if he had his own murder that was obedient to his command.
 
Cool video - thanks for posting. Whether the crow did all that in real time or was trained before hand it is still pretty impressive.

Supposedly there was no training involved. It's only of the few animals on Earth that can perform multi-step problem solving.
