Terminal Services is pretty damn good, however it doesn't work the same as VNC for me.

You can use TS for remote desktop sharing in XP, though.

I am big on UltraVNC as well mainly because of NT authentication and better performance than say RAdmin.
And it's also platform-independent so I can use one client to access both Win32 and MacOS/Unix/Linux
 
love tightvnc.. never really liked ultravnc much, and could never get the encryption plugin to work right. MS remote desktop is a lot faster though... heh. too bad it locks the computer on the other end as well as not allow scaling screen sizes.

Do you know if it can connect to Apple Remote Desktop? I did manage to connect using RealVNC but it had too many limitations like having to use full colors and not being able to connect if the Apple Remote Desktop software was running (I use it to manage the Macs at work).

I haven't tried it with Remote Desktop....I've only got 4 Macs here and they are very well-behaved so I don't have to remote control them much, so I haven't bothered trying very hard 🙂
