Ok, well then, can anyone reccomend a good AGP mobo?

The MSI K89 Neo 2 Platinum and the Gigabyte K8NSNXP-939 are both out of stock.

Also, now that I am not getting a NF4 mobo, what am I missing out on?

You're not missing out on very much. The Epox EP-9NDA3+ and MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum are both good boards.

MSI neo2 platinum or Asus A8V Deluxe are two boards i would recommend. If you dont plan on OC'ing then i'd go with the Asus. nF3 is great and offers many features. I dont know everything about nF4 but i'm guessing its just better because of the PCIe and SLI support... Those series chipsets also have firewall protection imbedded on the motherboard which is cool

to save you trouble and frustration, when selecting a motherboard, in my personal experience, research msi alot. in otherwords, go to the forum and just look at the technical problems section. i gave up trying to find the page numbers of threads....they have taken a landslide of quality in their products. And for your video card, just get the 6800GT, becuase it is much better. If you have enough money for two 6600gts, then get a 6800ULTRA instead. and get it from BFG or PNY tech.

2 6600gt = 350

1 6800gt = 400 (550pci)

1 6800ultra = 500

but you said you couldnt find one, so im guessing your looking at retail stores like bestbuy, compusa and such. they jack up their prices about 10%-15% more from what i have seen (and purchased) then on newegg. You got those prices from newegg, not those retail stores.

Huh?

Either way, no worries, I decided to switch to AGP. Plenty in stock now. Just for 388 too.

The Epox I mentioned will be great--it's a very good overclocker (I've seen 300HTT on a Winchester 3000+ with it). It's also a little cheaper than the MSI at $120. Order it and be done with it :) Enjoy your new build.

(EDIT in response to the next message: Did I word something wrong? )

Maybe do a little more research on fans--I'm not quite up to date on the best ones.

If overclocking anyway, get a 3000+ or 3200+. You'll get about the same top speeds with any Winchester. You also don't need overclockers' memory for that. Value RAM is fine.
