So Californians, Who Do You Want For Governor?

I think Gray Davis has done a decent job so far, and wouldn't mind having him again. All that power crisis crap is pretty irrelevant to me... don't we ALWAYS have blackouts and increasing costs during the summer?! Nothing new.

I agree that the power crisis was not Gray Davis' fault, but the way he handled it left a little to be desired. I recall some allegations of misconduct, and things were done in secrecy that didn't have to be done that way! If he wins again, chances are that he will make a run for the presidency, and we all know that he is not a good candidate for that. I'm a democrat, and will surely not be voting for him. As to who I will be voting for, I am uncertain.

Vote for XZeroII. Just write it in. They will know who you are talking about. I'll have CA whipped into shape in no time.

I CHOOSE 3!

Davis got my vote He has done a excellent job especially with all the cr*p you have to go through to get anything done.

I think Gray Davis blew it on the energy crisis. He caved in to the energy companies and signed billions in overpriced energy contracts, throwing CA into financial trouble.
What I would have done is turn off power in GOP controlled districts (Orange county, Bakersfield, San Diego to start with) , and throw the ball into FERC's court. It wouldn't cost Davis anything, because these districts didn't vote for him, and it would put pressure on Bush to act.
Of the people runnign now, I would vote for Riordan. He is technically Republican, but his policies are right where most of CA is at, a little left of the center.

Eh...one of my profs was raggin on Wilson for decreasing the amount of money going to CA schools, but I haven't heard of Davis doing anything to fix that.

My vote goes to Arnold...bah, he's not running yet 😉

I'm Democrat.....

And hoping for Riordan.....

Davis totally messed up the power crisis....didn't do anything for six months or more...

OOOHHH. Wouldn't it be sweet if Jerry Brown could run for governor again? He had the system wired and he put the State of California on the right track. If only we had more politicians like hime. OOOOpppppa. WE DO! Gary Condit! I want Condit for governor.
