having been to Chicago, New York, North Carolina and lived in Missouri and NorCal for years... So Cal is a better place to live for a college kid like me.

North Cal is nice, just too expensive comparatively to LA.

Dude...I hate to break it to you, but Texas, North Dakota, New Jersey and Florida are at the bottom of my list, state-wise. And I've been to every state but Alaska...

Granted, LA is pretty crappy...I'm sure there are places in Texas better than LA.

I've been to the Bay Area many times and never heard anyone say hella. I also lived in Boston for 2 years and never heard anyone say wicked.

I have lived in the Bay Area for almost 2 years now and FINALLY heard someone say it, it was some HS girl I overheard while I was eating lunch. I nearly burst out laughing it sounded so silly.
