What exactly does that responses have to do with the point of this thread? I read FBR's post as pointing out the difference between the way a U.S. president deals with the press vs. the way China's president responds. The U.S. president tries to answer the questions and the Chinese president ignores them. Unless you are just wanting to take another pathetic shot at the President for no reason, why would you feel that quote was important enough to repeat?

- If you don't see the relevance of the text I quoted, why not ask the author of the original post why he made that post?
- As far as I know, GWB is the only leader of a country who just can't seem to hold a normal speech and looks like a life-size doll when holding a speech.
- I choose not to make any comments on the post with which this thread started.
- Instead of pointing out how 'irrelevant' the post I quoted was to the thread, you could have ignored it, saving yourself the trouble of being an ass.

If you could be bothered to go back and check my original post I pointed out that you were acting like the Chinese?s president in using an already prepared and scripted response vs. answering a question on your own and possibly making a mistake. President Bush does answer questions and occasionally misspeaks and some people are waiting feverishly to point out his misstatements in some misguided attempt to try and prove something. Pointing out that talking extemporaneously can lead to occasional mistakes was germane to the discussion.

Let me ask you an honest question: do you feel lucky that the electoral system works the way it works in America? You do know Gore had the most votes, don't you? That literally translates to more American citizens who wanted to see Gore president than Bush. I wonder if the pro-Bush people think: "Gosh, we're lucky that the electoral college system is in place". Well, do ya? 🙂

I hate to watch or hear him speak. What is really scarey is when he don't have a complete speach written for him in front of him to read. When he starts talking and ad-libing important issues, he can be dangerous on what he says.
His 'axis of evil' comment surely made a impact around the word.

No, the other people that quoted that were not asked to explain why they posted that quote, you were and could not or would not post the reason. That is the obvious difference and why you are a coward for not posting your true reasons for quoting something in a thread in which you "didn't feel like joining" but felt that you had to add that quote.

Here's my two things:
(1)You're a fool if you don't think China, America and everyone else and their grandmother isn't spying on each other (or trying)...It's all a matter of having stuff caught.
(2) The only new implication this should have is that we need to find better ways of hiding our bugs.
Bush is an idiot. Plain and simple. I can't see why anyone would want an old coke addict as the president. He probably can't speek because he is having flashbacks to 10 years ago when he got all f*cked up and screwed a donkey. (I don't have any evidence about the donkey, and I also don't condone screwing donkeys, even if you're all messed up.)
