Buy Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines on Steam, best FPS with RPG elements ever made. If you have not played Deus Ex, it is a close 2nd (on steam as well). Checkout the community made content for each game.

If you want to try something different, you could play a true RPG. This Baldurs Gate, Icewind Dale, and NeverWinter Nights collection should keep you busy for the next year. Baldurs Gate 2 is my favorite game.

I've been reading your enthusiastic Vampire recommendations for a while now and I just recently started playing it; so far so good :) I'm definitely enjoying it. It's funny, I can't help but watch the spastic goth dancers for several minutes at a time :D

VtMB is great! I played it through 4 or 5 times before burning myself out on it. I played as different characters each time and handled quests differently. Playing as a seductive female Malkavian was the most fun, and playing as a male Nosferatu was the most difficult.

Civ 4 is the great if you like those kind of games, been playing since Civ 1. Also still play the Natural Selection HL mode (its free new one coming soon I hope) on and off for a while.

Be sure to grab the latest unofficial patch, the game is buggy as hell.

Well I'm stuck pretty well at the point where you have to open the relief valves on the dam. I can hold the bad guys back fine but it keeps breaking before my team can open it.

Never mind I got it, I didn't realize there was 2 guys coming out the door behind me and owning my squaddie who was opening the valves.

Another one for Vampire Masquerade Bloodlines, absolutely love that game. Had a blast playing it, as for the patch, if they haven't released a newer version, latest unofficial patch is 3.9
Highly recommend the game.

Did some digging, got the console enabled, did a few *enhancements* if you will to my character. Such a good game, rich with story, go get it.

Undying is another fun one too.

Those two are sleeper classics. :)

Vampire and Riddick are 2 great games you should be able to get for next to nothing. I really enjoyed both games.

Errr.. what was the survival horror game that took place in a prison/mental institution... Just a few years old... It was decent, and a bargain price... Not Silent Hill or Res Evil...

The suffering? For a console port it was ok i thought.
