He says:

"Hey man, I just can't take the pressure anymore. I just wrote my will and I'm going to leave you everything. I'm on top of your roof and I'm going to end it right now."

What do you do?

Go outside and try to talk him off the roof. I don't mind money, but I don't really want to see somebody go out that way.

Donate 99.999% of it to the Bill Gates foundation and keep a tiny sum.
Because I'm a charity too.

What an attention whore. If he was was going to do it, he'd have done it already and not made a whiny Facebook post about it.

I'd go outside and say "Hey jackass! What do you think's gonna happen jumping 10' off a roof?! Get the fuck down, and we can go out to dinner. You're buying"

I would go out there and start video recording so I don't get framed and arrested for murder.

I would tell him to wait until I got there because I wanted to YouTube it.

I'd go up, make sure the transfer paperwork was in order and properly signed...then I'd probably "help" him find his way off the roof...

I'd go look at my roof and not be surprised that he wasn't there.

The premise is ridiculous, Bill Gates would have no way of knowing my phone number or my address.

Now, Sergey Brin on the other hand...

Spend every penny buying majority share in Apple. :D

Then force them to make some irrecoverably boneheaded decisions, short the stock, and drink the tears of the Apple fanboys as the whole thing comes crashing down.:awe:

After the call gets cut off due to the avalanche of snow that just happened on my roof, I'd come help dig him out, and maybe invite him to go to timmy's or something. I'd ask if he has any spare change because I forgot to bring money. Instant millionaire!

I'd also try to convince him to switch to Linux. :p

The Linux community would forever love you for doing that.

He would buy up ALL the linux distributions (that matter), and all the Linux developers, then charge $150 for each Linux licence, and an annual fee starting at $49/Year, which increases if you want support and other stuff.

He would patent/copyright it, and disallow freeBSD on the grounds that it infringes on Unix's copyright.

Never thought of that. Not sure if he's that evil though... actually I'm surprised Apple has not done that. I would totally see them do it.

He would bring out Linux 8.0, Desktop version, with a Mobile phone 320x240 touch screen interface, and allow ANY software to run on it, after you have bought it from the Microsoft Linux App store, which is the ONLY place, executable software can come from. (Except the NSA backdoors, spam and virus's, neatly brought in via windows like mechanisms).

I'm sure he would keep OpenOffice (etc, names vary) entirely, 100% free, (for all $199/Year LinuxOfficeMicroSoft subscribers).
