Maybe if I go to a doctor and explode with my rage at Mommy killing me I won't have such a need for everybody else to die too.

Your right. I know it is not fair... but I am going to the art district to punch a hippie in the face and I will love myself for it. For it is wrong, but the hippie probably does not have health insurance so his hospital visit will not cost a dime. He will feel better. I will feel better. Then I can love myself.

and it wont really be fair when you are charged with assault, lose your pilots license and have 9 inches of cock in your mouth.

whats the standard deviation of cock-size? Soehow i don't think there are enough 9 inch cocks out there that he woudl be the guy in prison taking the 9 inch cock. Probability-wise, that is.

Actually bailing out a homeowner tastes better than bailing out the banks.
Homeowner get to keep his porperty and the bank still gets their money.

Bail out a bank, bonuses all around and the guy loses his home . . .
Don't forget banks persued, encouraged, sold these mortgauges as derivatives to the world

Won't both the banks and the homeowners have to repay the loans they receive? It seems some people are viewing the bailouts as free money and I'm not sure that's the case.

My mother would go to night classes sponsored by state/federal gov't about different loan types, with special programs for people that were poorer being emphasized. They even warned about predatory lending, etc. We eventually find a house, a nice one, get the loan, etc. Move in. No problems. Never late on a single payment becase we lived within our means.

But now there's these fucktards bitching about being 'taken advantage of' by predatory lenders. Do they even read what they signed, or if they didn't understand what they were signing, get a cheap lawyer to explain that you're about to get bent over with no lube if you sign. You're already borrowing hundreds of thousands of dollars, but the fee for an hour of a lawyer's time is too much?? Plus those classes my parents took STILL EXIST. How could you go into something like home ownership and NOT educate yourself?? I don't want to hear about how these 'people are desperate and the lenders take advantage of that'. Bullshit. My parents were desperate to get me away from the drugs and violence of where I lived. They wanted to make sure that we didn't just get out of there, but that we could STAY out of there, without compromising their ability to provide basic necessities outside of paying the mortgage.

But now these people that dived face-first into these awful mortgages without doing THEIR due-diligence get bailed out??? So we have to plunge the economy into even more debt to help these people? I'm sure my parents would've LOVED to have their mortgage payment reduced by half for being retards. Instead they did their research and they compared different programs without having their heads up their rear-ends. Did anyone come along and say 'hey you guys got out of a slum, and did so in an intelligent manner, want a 50% discount on your loan?"? Of course not. ARG

So is there ANYONE else that's pissed off about this?? All I hear is people blaming banks, lenders, the gov't. What about these fucktards that bought what they shouldn't have bought??
I read that they all like to eat at Olive Garden too. What's the world coming to?

Al Roker says all these people in the suburbs are addicted to Heroin and therefore need to go back where they came from...

Only if the gov is a vegetarian, but the tastes are similar in either case.

Who is the biggest "fucktard" the one who applies for a loan that knows little of finance or the "fucktard" that is a professional finance guy who lends the money? Without checking the applicant's reliability.

Don't Bailout NONE OF THEM. I guarantee both will do the same thing again as soon as they can. Why not? It cost them little.

Two ways too learn pain or pleasure.
If they are bailed out they get positive reinforcement to do it again.
Let them feel the pain. Some may not do it again.

How did enormous pain help you? You are in enormous pain but you have no understanding. How have you been helped. Your ideas are just as dumb and dangerous as buying a house you can't afford and you are as likely as those who did that to take any responsibility.

You are in enormous pain but you have no understanding. It is not my pain that is enormous yet it is anger and frustration at having to pay the bill for others greed. As for not understanding. Explain it to me. I will pay attention. I may not agree but I will pay attention.

I have had some real dumb ideas before can not deny that. Stared a business with two other people and one myself.
Both failed and I paid off every debt with interest. No one who has lent my money has not been paid back.

As to personal responsibility. I bought a house I could afford and have paid it off. My vehicle is a 1991 with >500,000 miles on it and I just got back from NAPA with a new water pump to keep it going until I can afford another.

No, so far *
2 sets ball joints.
1 AC compressor and related parts.
1 Alternator and several voltage regulators.
1 Vacuum pump.
4 batteries.
Today a water pump.
The rest is tires, brakes, light bulbs, belts, hoses, oil, and filters.
This is the first I have had to go into the "engine" except for valve adjustments.

Can't replace the engine a rebuild is $8500. :brokenheart: I would still have a $1200 truck.
I need to find another truck to put my drive train in.😀

* This list does not include body damage from a close encounter with a light pole base in a snow storm.

So, you are jealous of these people getting help in a bad situation. What a petty little (human being???) you are.

Well I am jealous. Who knew in 2003 I could have bought a $600,000 house. Stupid me settled on one that cost $134,000. I could have gptten a 40 year adjustable rate balloon 80/15/5 mortgage or something like that.

No matter, I just bought a new 2009 Porsche for commuting and a 2009 Hummer to drive around town on the weekends. I can afford it if I do not pay my mortgage. But hey, there is more taxpayer money where that came from... and Obama will fix my terms so I can now make payments. It is gonna be sweet driving my new porsche back and forth to work everyday.

? I haven't lived at home since I was 21. It baffles me that a group as self-proclaimed intelligent as AT can't figure out that some stories are in the past-tense.

Hey call all the responsible home owners that have had their own property value plummet because they're surrounded by foreclosed homes then talk to me about how this is unfair to them to stabilize that.

Oh well house prices needed an adjustment. House prices will eventually go back up after this correction. Hell my 401k plummeted does that mean the government should bail me out? These bail outs are horrible and reward bad behavior. People wonder why society is so fucked up these days. We reward bad behavior and punish those who do the right thing.
