What's the best emulation software for arcade/Neo Geo games? I'm using Mame32k (since it has multiplayer) but it doesn't work with half of the Mame ROMs I downloaded...

this is not really related to your question, but I got my Amiga 500 emulator working, and am able to play "Virus"... anyone remember that game? It was pretty much the first computer game using 3d vector graphics.

nebula or kawaks are best for Neo Geo, and play the Capcom games as well

Winkwaks is the best for the neogeo games. Nester for NES and ZSNES for SNES games. I've also had mixed results with MAME32, you could try different versions to see if they work with the ROMS you have.

You need to download the correct rom versions for the version of mame you are using as well as any parent roms and bios.

Mame is constantly updated which also means the roms from previous versions sometimes don't work.

The best thing to do is to download the latest version of mame (as of this writing it's 105u4) and do a search for mame roms on a bit torrent site and download the torrent for a complete mame. Then inside your bit torrent client select all the roms you want including their parent roms and bios roms.

I tried using Mame but the dos version's weird, not sure if Im entering in the wrong commands or what but it doesnt work properly..so I switched to Mame32k and Mame32 Plus.. way easier with Windows versions
