In case you haven't heard of it, here's a link. I think I might have to pick it up, X-Com was one of the greatest games ever.

I believe Terror from the Deep is the easiest one to get working. Theres a patch thingy some guy made to get it to work. #3 supposedly works by jumping through hoops (for windows2000 anyway) and #1 is near impossible 'cause it demands to run on DOS. But then again, with that compatability doohicky that XP has, they might work better for you.

And I swear, the game must use the spare CPU speed to make their AI smarter. I'm only 1.5 months (x-com time) into the game and the aliens give me an intense fight (the campers suck though) way too often :D :D

EDIT: Check here - http://www.xcomufo.com/forums//index.php?showforum=69

and check this out - a fan-made MULTIPLAYER X-COM!!!!!

Looks interesting.

The original X-COM was so awesome. I actually bought a PC to play Master of Orion way back when but X-COM was the game that I enjoyed the most.

Gotta love turning your speakers up at night and turning a corner and getting blown away.
