So a scammer bought my item on Ebay

Of course I wasn't stupid enough to ship it to him and offered the next highest bidder a buy now option at his last bid. I was just wondering what to do about the scammer. Do I report him and risk negative feedback or what?

Ahaha easy! After he won the item he asked in broken english if I could please ship the item to Nigeria, after I repeatedly stated that I only ship to verified United States addresses. In fact here is the message, lol

"dear seller, i'm so happy that i won this particular item of ur's, its a great item. want you to do me a favoure on this item, i want to send this item to my husband that work in American embassy, africa nigeria as he demanded for it. i would have told you to send it to me here so that i could ship it from here, but i'm out of state for my office official assignment whish will take me some weeks to accomplish. i want you to send me the shipping cost and to african nigeria and also the total price of the item, i will make the payment asap i see the invoice to containning shipment to african nigeria.

As a new ebay seller I wasn't aware of this. Do I just go to the unpaid item button or what exactly do I click to report him?

u get alot of that with items on craigslist haha. They say something like i would like to by 2 dozen of the item.

they like to say "item" and never seem to referr to the actual name.


I get tons of those so i repield to one and said i would love to know what con is here. The person replied and said i dont know what u mean or something and still said he wanted to buy the item. HAHA

Yup. I had one of those form emails asking if I could ship my item to Nigeria. Somehow I don't think they were really interested in a double axle horse trailer!
