Snowboarding/Skiing Season has begun! Anyone plan any trips yet?

Well, my January is jam packed with trips. I seriously cannot wait.

Here are my planned trips so far:

Park City - January 2nd - 5th
- Never been to Park city so I am pretty excited! Probably going to hit up snowbird first, then Park City, then I dunno what mountain on my third day. Anyone have any suggestions?

Telluride - January 9th - 12th.
- I go to telluride at least once a year. Love the mountain, love the town, love the people!

Sunrise Ski Resort January 30th - Feb 1st
- Should be a fun trip. Its just a small Arizona mountain, but its a good fix and I get free lift tickets!

Durango - Early March
- Durango is a great place to board. Its only 6 hours from Phoenix so its a quick trip.


So where are y'all going?
 
I don't plan trips. I wake up each morning, walk outside and look at Mount Heavenly, and decide if it will be a good ski day or not.
 
Maybe Big Bear if I can get the time off. But, I've also got to little ones, so i don't get much play time. Maybe early feb i can get out and try to go to Mammoth.

I went to a small local ski area this past sunday when it was snowing like mad. Absolutely no trails were groomed and it was pure powder. 2 feet of it. Best skiing I've had my entire life.
 
very jealous. im sure i will make some day trips to the crappy places near DC, but nothing huge planned like last year. trying to put together a trip out west around spring break time, we will see if that happens

Mammoth Feb 26-Mar 1 with 15 friends in a 5000 sq ft cabin

Mt Hood in the spring maybe?
 
Man, twice I've been blueballed on snowboarding this season.. First due to bad weather, second was miscommunication between friends that left me without a ride.


I'm going to Mt Baldy this weekend come hell our high water :|

I'm jealous.. don't you wanna have 15 friends and one internet stranger who promises not to murder/rape/eat you in your sleep in a 5000 sq ft cabin?

I can chip in and I dont eat much and I'll sleep on the floor..

I think that was only the second time in 689 posts that I've posted for no other reason than to be a complete ass. 😛
 
A New Year's trip with my friends. We go up to Okemo the 31st, ski that day, the 1st, and the 2nd, and leave the night of the 2nd.
 
I was at Bretton Woods last weekend. Left Thursday night, came back Monday afternoon. Best few days of skiing I've had in years. There was nobody there and conditions were outstanding.
 
depends on how i feel. once the wife gets back from anaheim, we might head down the street and ski some.

too many places nearby to chose from.

will certainly do some cross country in a week or so.
