I started boarding earlier this year, but have gone out a dozen times already and just love the sport. I want to get something much lighter and a bit shorter than my current board (K2 Dart - 159cm). I'd say my budget is anywhere between 300-400 bucks. My goal is to start doing some tricks/jumps and just have more control in general.
 
How tall are you?

if you're going to be in the park, look for a shorter board with a lot of pop in it. Meaning that it isn't stiff, and you can bend it pretty easily.
 
I used to have a red 155 Dart until some ****** stole it.

If you tell us how tall you are I could suggest a size. It also depends on your weight too, so even if you're tall that doesn't necessarily mean you should ride a longer board.
 
end of the season sales are going on right now in cali. not sure about where you are. actually most of the sales are about over and they have almost no stock left.

Hey is it true that sometimes binding from other companies dont fit burton boards?

I ride a T6, I have ridden the vapor, honestly I cannot tell the differance.

The plates will mount to a burton board with one exception, the unic which comes in a 2 screw design but also includes the mounting plates.
