Definitely go gas powered, minimum of 8HP depending on typical snow fall amounts and if it is heavy, wet snow or fluffy type. Personally, I always liked the Snapper units. Never had a problem with them yet.

Problem solved. My landlord has a top notch machine. I can use it if I put gas/oil in.
