I'm watching the snow piling up on a transformer and it's getting dangerously close to the bushings. (7.5kV)

I'm not looking forward to a POP POP with green flashes tonight! Our Main UPS is offline running in LINECOND mode only and the diesels were last started on Feb 1! :Q :Q :Q Guess it's time to get busy.

Chance of thundersnow this evening! Woohoo! I was awakened by thunder at 07:32 this morning after a whole hour of sleep. <sigh>

Am I complaining? Hell no! Bring it on! I love the snow!

"The Quiet before the storm" up here in CT. Radar showed the percipitation right below CT this morning, and its still there this evening. Looks like a slow mover. Forecast is up to a foot of snow.. fun fun.

I just walked out to my car, and my feet were buried about 4 inches above my ankles. Its gonna be like 20 inches at least. I'm in Marlton btw.

Man, makes me wish I was living in an area that was getting the absolute worst of it, convection snow storms (complete with lightning and thunder) and all. I love those. 🙂 I definately love bizzards. This thin dirty, lame blanket of snow we got now sucks.
