Hey, we're having 6 to 8 again today. We have had the most snow before Christmas in 10 years. (Eastern Iowa)

Yeah I decided not to bike to work today because of it. We have about 1 foot on the ground already.

fixed

EDIT: This is a shot from my workplace last Friday, around 3:00pm. It kept snowing for a couple hours after that. My car is the blue one in the center, next to the open space. PIC

That picture has made me weep now....I WANT SOME DAMN SNOW HERE>

We got 3 inches last week and nothing else forecasted for S. Illinois at all at least till Christmas. We've had a couple of white Christmases in the last years, but still the rarity.

i absolutely hate snow
at least lake erie freezes in january usually so the lake effect variety stops
those people to the northeast of us get it all season from lake ontario
im in western new york for reference

Supposed to get 4-6 today here. Lately we've been getting screwed in the SE WI area. They either get tons of snow north of us or tons of snow south of us (Chicago) but it always seems to miss us. WIsh we'd just get hammered with a good couple feet all at once...
Preferrably AFTER I finnish my drive home ....
I do not want another 2.5 or 3 hour drive on my little 20 mile drive from one suburb to another this evening. 1 hour is bad enough.

there was 6" waiting on the driveway/sidewalk when I got home this morning. I just woke up and it is still snowing, with another 2" on top of what we already got 🙂

guess I'll have to break out the snowblower 🙁

Hey would you like to ship it all to my house?

heh. i'll check to see if the snow is packy later, and let you know. 😛

Supposed to get another 6-9" on top of the 9" we already had from last week. (Central PA). They're hinting that another one is brewing for the beginning of next week and it could be bigger (12+). Yuck.

we're getting a heaping helping this afternoon. i think my manager should send me home since i have the longest commute, which i think she will 😛

Michiganders & Detroiters, what say you? I bet the shore of Lake Michigan just got pwnt with a bunch of lake effect.

At least you get some snow, it can never snow where I live. The cumulative snowfall in the last 2000 years is less than 1/4 inch. I am talking about adding all the snow fall up for the last 2000 years and you get less than 1/4 of an inch has fallen. It can't snow here at all. .
