As far as I know they do.

In Canada, we celebrate pretty much every holiday you guys do down south. There are a few differences in timing (our Thanksgiving is about 1 month ahead of yours, Canada Day is July 1 and it's our version of July 4) and maybe an extra couple of holidays here and there, but for the most part it's the same.

If you were to move to la Belle Province (Quebec), they have a couple of additional holidays such as Fete Nationale and St. Jean-de-Baptiste Day.

we don't have columbus day.. is that the one on may 30? b/c we don't celebrate whatever one that is either.

edit.. did a google search. May 30 is memorial day in the US. In Canada we have Remembrance day on Nov.11, but it's only a half day holiday.

Thank God I don't live where you all do. Supposed to be in the 80s and sunny for the next few days with lows in the 60s. That is MY kinda weather. I was raised up North but I am done with cold weather. Gets chilly in the Winter in MS but reasonably tolerable compared to the below 0 temps I remember in Connecticut and Wisconsin. Can't wait until I move back to FL there where Winter is just a word..hehe.

no, columbus day is like the second monday in october, i think..

I wouldn't expect you guys to celebrate Memorial Day, it's war related.

we have a war related holiday! Remembrance day is when we pay tribute to our fallen. Memorial day sounds like it was in remembrance of civil war dead. according to this page. Thus, we wouldn't observe it.

Yeah, that's what I was meaning -- that it was a holiday related to OUR wars and fallen 🙂

yesterday everything was covered in clouds of smoke, this morning it looks like a beautiful winter day with storm clouds in the air, last week it felt like the middle of summer. Gotta love crazy cali.

Wow, that system is gorgeous! I dont think we have anything like that here in metro New York.. unless I've been living in a cave. I only know a few dotted web cams but IMO they are in bad positions.
