Snow Skiing in Colorado

I'm heading out to Colorado in February for a week. We'll be staying at frisco. Looking for a decent place to do some skiing, taking the wife also. She has never skied before so I need to go some place where she can learn on some easy trails, also would like to go to a less crowded place. Any ideas? Probably be going skiing on a weekday as I would think it would also be less crowded, is this safe to assume?

since your staying in Frisco your just a couple of miles down the road from Keystone. they have some good runs and on a weekday it shouldnt be too crowded. my wife went skiing for the first time in her life there last year. we went in november it sucked because of all the man made snow. but since you coming in feb there should be a nice thick base.

then you have Vail but they are MUCHO DENERO
