Can't wait! We're supposed to get 1'+. Crazy for as late as it is here. My tulips and daffodils aren't gonna be happy, but I'll be. Hope it kills some bugs too.

Yea it got down to 20 degrees last night hope it and the upcoming snow washes down some of the pollen.

Same here. Most sites have us getting 12-18" except one forecaster who is usually the most accurate and says 6-12". That's much better. Where are you located?

Isn't snow accumulation (kinda an insulator) better on plants than sub-freezing temps?

That's why FL orange growers run the sprinklers all night when it freezes, so the ice can protect the fruit.

I would have loved a good 18" snow .... in January. By now, I'm ready for spring.

Calling for 10-15" here, with the possibility of 18+. That's deep enough that I can't even get my ATV out and play in it. Tried to get through the 28" we had in February 2015 and got nowhere. Sold my plow as well, and the neighbor with the monster 28" 2 stage 10hp snowblower moved out as well .... I am screwed :(

looking at the radar it seems like it might have weakened a fair bit already. Got a feeling this is much ado about not a lot.

Yea, it does. We have a lot of bugs out already, and my hope is the cold night time temps kill some off since they aren't burrowed away. I was on a job a couple weeks ago, and they had spread shit on a nearby field. I bet I had 100+ flies in my truck after leaving the door open :^S

Looks like Toronto is going to get hit too. Time to call the army!

Funny how it's the south that gets all the snow these days. We just get the shitty wet weather followed by extreme cold then more wet etc. Was -33 this morning without the windchill. Suppose to warm up to over 0 later this week. From one extreme to the other.

SNOW ACCUMULATIONS... 1 TO 2 FEET WITH WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS ESPECIALLY NORTH AND WEST OF NEW YORK CITY. * SNOWFALL RATES... 2 TO 4 INCHES PER HOUR AT TIMES

Looks like it mostly missed us. Maybe 6 inches tops out there. Not even worth shoveling.
