Snow Day! How many are home?

How many of you are home from work or school because of snow/ice?

I am. I have no idea if school is actually open or not, and I don't care. My van's running boards are under the snow, along with half the rims. It is NOT going to move from that parking space (And the snow is deeper on the road)

I made it in to work, after snow-blowing about 8" from my driveway.

No snow here on the west coast (Portland, OR) however the east coast is getting HAMMERED.

my college has only cancled for snow 1 time in the past 38 years + today is the first day of classes for second sem - now way in hell were they canceling today

it happened last year when we got like 3 feet of snow

the next day the town was still in a "state of emergency" yet we had class. the school got fined big time for that one

home from school, in philly PA, finnaly got a snow day this year.

I remember going to work a couple of times when we got 18-20 inches of snow. I have gone to work through countless Icestorms also, My boss is way to greedy to ever declare a snowday.

The only time we don't have school (in college) is if it is 30F below zero or the snow is so bad that people are getting stuck on the road. Last year I remember walking to school (about 1 mile away) because it was snowing so hard. After class, there was about 1.5 inches of snow on the roads and it was still coming down hard. I happily walked home because there was no way that I was going to risk driving.

how much snow did you get. here in Carlisle we only got about 5 inches and I know harrisburg got the same. if you only got 5 inches and got school cancled thats rediclious

Didn't snow enough here... even though there is about 2 inches of ice/snow on the ground... many schools are closed today... but its very rare that we get a snow day... took 30mins to get my car de-iced this morning...

the very very very few times it has snowed in tucson, it hasnt even stuck to the ground.

Most businesses, malls, schools, etc. are closed in NC. I love snow days!

Not over here in San Diego . The only time i can remember not going to school/work was during the wild fire last year.
