Snorkel on an FJ Cruiser???

Would anyone actually take their new FJ Cruiser into water that deep or is it just a retarded cosmetic thing like fake scoops or bull bars?

I have a cosmetic bull bar. It's for those pesky pedestrians that don't notice when my wife accidently drives onto the sidewalk.

I took my (then) new XTerra w/ snorkel into water that deep... Some people that drive SUV's DO actually use them for what they're designed.

It's a functional snorkel. Whether anyone would take a new FJ Cruiser into deep water is a different question, but the snorkel is real, and works correctly.

Well that's a relief to know someone didn't just bolt on a piece of plastic. I wonder if the Flooded Ikea package (thanks joesmoke!) comes with removable carpets too?

So does the air always flow through there, or is there some kind of switch?

How do you know the one he saw was functional? 😕
