BY THE TIME THE SNOW COMES TO AN END THERE SHOULD BE 6 TO 8 INCH SNOW AMOUNTS ACROSS MOST OF THE NEW YORK CITY METROPOLITAN AREA AND NORTHERN NEW JERSEY. EASTERN LONG ISLAND AND SOUTHERN CONNECTICUT COULD VERY WELL SEE AMOUNTS OF 6 TO 10 INCHES.

I'm jealous! Up here in Vancouver Canada, it's not even close to snow I went for a walk and had to take off my sweatshirt it's so warm! Yes I had a t-shirt on under my sweatshirt!

I go to school in NYC and had my blinds shut on my windows and had no idea it was snowing until i walked out of the dorm and was like "WTF is this!?!?!", and damn near almost killed myself walking to class. I thought it was gonna be clear and freezing cold again like previous days this week. Yes, im a dumbarse who never watches the weather news

Anyone get school cancelled in NYC? I heard some colleges were closed, like Pace and Fordham and others?

SNOW...HEAVY AT TIMES...HAS OVERSPREAD MUCH OF THE REGION SOUTH OF THE MASS PIKE. HEAVY SNOW WAS COMING DOWN AT A RATE OF 1 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR LATE THIS AFTERNOON.

THE SNOW WILL CONTINUE HEAVY AT TIMES THIS EVENING...TAPERING TO LIGHT SNOW AND FLURRIES BY MIDNIGHT. TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS BY MIDNIGHT ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM 6 TO 10 INCHES.


Well, odds are looking pretty good for a white Christmas this year. It's STILL coming down pretty good, I probably have about 7" of snow.

i wish we can have snow where we live in san jose. it rarely dips below 50 degrees ever and we never get SNOW! never in my 15 years of age, has it ever snowed in this lousy place. we need some snow here!!!!!
