First time I have laughed out loud and hard at something on SNL in a long long time!

Is it safe to say that Timberlake has shaken off the boy-band past and is no longer a tool?
I'd say so.

I still hate his music. The whole "guy who sings/sounds like a woman" just ain't my thing.

In a band or not, he's still a pop singer...not that there's anything wrong with that
WTF is "artistic integrity" anyway? It kills me when I see people rag on bands for doing a commercial or something that's considered "selling out".Originally posted by: tweakmm

He's making crazy bank and get's mad ass.
I'm a classically trained musician but would sell out in a heartbeat, I've had this discussion with several of my other musican friends and we all agree that we'd take the money over artistic integrity.
Uh, I was agreeing with you. But pop music follows a pretty standard pattern, get any nameless clown with a nice face off the street, put a top notch producer behind them and you have a hit.Originally posted by: Pacfanweb

Why do people make records in the first place? 99.9999% do it because they can get rich, famous, and get all the tail they want.
"Artistic integrity", my ass.
Yeah, I'm sure that some nameless flute player in the Boston Pops or your local symphony would rather just get a paycheck every week rather than sell millions of albums and tickets like Kenny G or someone like that.

This, combined with the "Please Don't Cut My Testicles" short w/Tom Hanks, easily makes Samberg the funniest cast member.
