Is it safe to say that Timberlake has shaken off the boy-band past and is no longer a tool?
I'd say so.
I still hate his music. The whole "guy who sings/sounds like a woman" just ain't my thing.

I'll confess - I think Justin Timberlake is probably a very chill, fun guy and.. gulp.. I respect him a lot lately.

that 'gulp' which was supposed to represent hesitation, probably made my post seem even gayer... hmmm!

Uh, I was agreeing with you. But pop music follows a pretty standard pattern, get any nameless clown with a nice face off the street, put a top notch producer behind them and you have a hit.Originally posted by: Pacfanweb
WTF is "artistic integrity" anyway? It kills me when I see people rag on bands for doing a commercial or something that's considered "selling out".
Why do people make records in the first place? 99.9999% do it because they can get rich, famous, and get all the tail they want.
"Artistic integrity", my ass.
Yeah, I'm sure that some nameless flute player in the Boston Pops or your local symphony would rather just get a paycheck every week rather than sell millions of albums and tickets like Kenny G or someone like that.
The artists who do the real creative stuff rarely get famous beyond a small cult following.
